In order to break ahead in an increasingly crowded pet food market, Freshpet needed to go bold in order to make their mark.
Freshpet came to Sense NYC with the hopes of increasing brand awareness in order to establish their position as the brand for those who really love their pets. With other emerging pet food brands nipping at their heels, Freshpet needed to put their money where their mouth is in order to convince an inherently discerning consumer that their celebration of pet love is genuine.
In response, we created the “Freshpet Tattoo Pawlor,” a one-day event in collaboration with premier studio First Class Tattoos, where competition winners received custom portraits of their furry loved ones and others were welcomed to free pet flash tattoos designed exclusively for the event.
With a reach of over 4 million generated, 9 pet portraits and 11 pet flash tattoos administered, Freshpet certainly made their mark.
“When we’re in love, we want to share it with the world and that doesn’t stop when we’re talking about the unconditional love we have for our pets,” said Kaitlin Juchniewicz of Freshpet.
“Whether it’s celebrating their birthday or going above and beyond to ensure they can come along on the next road trip, we’re constantly looking for ways to make sure our pets know that they’re in our hearts. Our Freshpet pop-up Tattoo Pawlor is one big celebration of the unique ways that we’re sharing this deeply-rooted love for our animals every day,” concluded Sarah Preistman of Sense NYC.
